PARTNERSHIPS
FLP has strong links with other organisations and networks in the ECD and adult learning spheres, including:
Member of the Early Childhood Development Learning Community of partners of the Bernard van Leer Foundation
Member of the Ingwe NGO forum, of civil society organisations working in the Ixopo and Creighton area of Sisonke District Municipality.
Member of the South Africa Reflect Network (SARN).
Member of Reading Association of South Africa (RASA).

The positive results achieved by the FLP led to many discussions about extending the work into new areas. Five organisations working in the area were offered the opportunity to start family literacy groups. The FLP trained and supported the facilitators of these groups and supplied them with materials over a two year period.
The five partner organisations were:
- Woza' Moya, Buddhist Retreat Centre, Ixopo
- Centocow Leadership and Training Project, (CLTP)
- Women's Leadership and Training Project, Ndawana (WLTP)
- Boston Family Literacy Project
- Faithway Christian School, Himeville
- MiET/DoE
Two of the facilitators continue to work in projects that maintain close links with us. These are Nompumelelo Nyati of Farm Family Literacy and Busisiwe Memela of Edzimkulu, Ndawana.
